Stoneside is a small cut flower farm in Dartmouth, MA founded and operated by us—Gaby & Greg—two best friends who met working on another small farm in Massachusetts. We quickly connected over our love for flowers and decided to combine our talents to pursue a shared vision full of natural beauty, community, and endless blooms. Follow along with our journey as we transform two acres of land into an oasis of color and joy.
At Stoneside we operate on regenerative principles, focusing intensively on soil health and supporting our local ecosystems with native plants and other perennials. We farm on conservation land, and work hard to ensure the land is healthy for years of future farming. One of our foundational goals is to provide a high quality alternative to the internationally produced, chemically treated flowers that are commonly available. We believe that nothing compares to the magic of farm-grown flowers.
All varieties we grow are hand-selected for their beauty, uniqueness, and performance as a cut flower. Our style is garden-grown, lush, textural, and most importantly–full of life! Seasonality is central to our operation, with something new blooming in the field each week. We supply top-quality flowers to local farmers markets, grocery stores, and full-service weddings. Why flowers?
Flowers are woven into our social fabric–present in times of celebration and sorrow. Growing and sharing flowers into the world is an extension of our connection to each other and to our natural environment. That’s why we say “there’s a flower for every feeling.” We give flowers to mark milestones, show gratitude, express regret, and cheer ourselves up. They make us feel happy, appreciated, inspired, awe-struck, and loved.
These experiences are central to the farm. We grow our flowers for real people, members of our community who lead unique and special lives. Individuals with specific tastes and preferences, with different stories and connections to what we grow. This is the relationship we hope to foster over the years at Stoneside. We work hard to make sure our flowers are as expressive and special as the people we grow them for.
